Large oil spill in Sisimiut

When the passenger ship Fram attempted to refuel in Sisimiut, 10,000 litres of oil escaped into the harbour waters.
Sisimiut fire-chief Steen Borisen said that passenger ship Fram unsuccessfully tried to refuel and the oil spilled directly into the harbour.
Borisen said it was likely that any remaining oil in the harbour would evaporate in the sun.
